Heat shrink tubing isn't too much of a problem. So I bought this kit with a little thought. When I first started using the kit, I realized that while the product seems good, I'll be wasting more of it than kits with longer hoses. If you use the tubing lengths listed you're fine, but if you have to cut it to a shorter length you'll be left with lots of tiny pieces that you might as well throw away. I use tubes for electronics projects, so I often need very short tubes. My previous set had tubes as long as the short side of this set's box, allowing me to get many short tubes out of a long tube with a lot less material. Not a big deal, but the next set I buy will most likely have longer tubes again. Apart from the problem described above, this kit works perfectly and the product appears to be of good quality.
