I had a work project that required me to power the display with 120V DC. The problem was that I had to do it with batteries. I couldn't find an inexpensive single converter that worked so I bought two of these and two 12 volt sealed lead acid batteries. Today I finally had the opportunity to assemble this part of the project. Each converter is powered by a battery. I turned on the unit, measured the voltage, set it to 60.0 volts and did the same with the other one. Two converters are connected in series and supply the 120V required for my project. With a load of around 40 watts, the converters work continuously with 120.0 volts. Each module has a red LED that means "Power on". There are high quality screw terminals for Vin and Vout. Both Waj and Iaj were controlled by 10 turn pots. The device contains a built-in fuse to protect the input. This is a good converter. The only downside is that the device is not easy to assemble. The heatsink has two unused holes on each end that can be used. In my case I wanted to provide full isolation between the power supplies so this doesn't work.
