Description of ⚡ DROK 600W Voltage Boost Converter: 12-60V to 12-80V, Step-up Regulator, Adjustable Output, Auto Power Supply Transformer for Laptop Motors

Red LED indicator will light on when module is power on; Item is equipped with heat sink. Adopts 1 mm dual-wire winding Inductance, good filter capacitor and 8500 wiring terminals. Please use a small screwdriver to adjust current potentiometer and Voltage potentiometer. 20A fuse in the input creates dual short-circuit protection and ensures security in usage. Over-current protection and module decreases output Volt automatically if input more than 17A.

it's ok - power converter

ok it works and boost voltage but adjusting current does nothing meaning it not good is driving leds. This is more suitable for an application that does not require current throttling.

Pros
  • over current protection and module automatically reduce output voltage when input is more than 17A
Cons
  • there are cons

Easy to upgrade. suitable for power converters

I'll give this product a 3 star rating: Easy to fix manufacturing defects (bean counter). Pros: Less expensive than the ones shown here, which were made exactly to the engineer's original design. : Current detection is corrupted (almost disabled). An important part of the diagram has been omitted. Solution: Replace the thick wire shunt (R9) with a suitable current sense resistor. (Also known as a 5W 0.011.0ohm thermistor.) You can use something like this: Manufacturer part number BPR58CR10J…

Pros
  • Red LED lights up when the module is switched on; The product is equipped with a heat sink
Cons
  • Not sure

The non-isolated plug and play converter works great.

I had a work project that required me to power the display with 120V DC. The problem was that I had to do it with batteries. I couldn't find an inexpensive single converter that worked so I bought two of these and two 12 volt sealed lead acid batteries. Today I finally had the opportunity to assemble this part of the project. Each converter is powered by a battery. I turned on the unit, measured the voltage, set it to 60.0 volts and did the same with the other one. Two converters are connected…

Pros
  • 20A input fuse provides double short circuit protection and operational security
