I used it towards the end of my diastasis correction. It was a second piece of clothing I bought because the first one got too big as my body healed and the swelling went down. Putting it on made me feel brand new and it made it a lot easier to get around and be productive. One thing to consider if wearing this after your abdominal surgery is the bottom closure and I could NEVER be able to bend over to open and open the toilet immediately after the surgery. Therefore, for immediate post-operative clothing, I would recommend one that is mid-thigh and has an opening to allow you to easily sit on the toilet and walk away. Then when you're healed and need a tighter fit, switch to this one as it closes at the bottom and you can wear loose dresses or shorts without worrying that everyone will see your privates and you won't see your underwear below your thighs . your dress or shorts. Hang in there, recovery is hard, but the right underwear will make recovery that much easier!
