I bought these to use as wooden shelving for my truck. I don't like lugging around 12 foot boards hanging from the back door. I'm afraid someone will not see the flags and still run off into the forest. With this stand, the long boards are up high and out of the reach of small cars. So far they make a very robust and solid impression. I bought truck body clamps for mine as I wasn't sure how durable I wanted them to be. The clamps hold them in place well and I keep a 9/16 wrench in the truck to hold them in place. The assembly was easy and uncomplicated. The cross member fits into brackets on the sides, allowing it to fit almost any truck body.
