Excellent product! This solved a very difficult connection problem with my extended ethernet network. I have a home/farm complex that needs about 800 feet between the router and the end workstations, which is too far for a reliable signal. I ended up using four ethernet switches from the router to the end stations with the following jumps: 160 feet; 300 feet; 100 feet, 140 feet. The new IPCamPower POE receives POE from a POE switch in the farm 100 meters from home and works great! This device also allowed me to get rid of the ugly and vulnerable 110V outdoor extension cord. Highly recommended for extending ethernet cables, but make sure you have (or bought) a POE switch or router to power the device.
