Well proven for polishing aluminum cylinder head ports and combustion chambers. Seems to last a little less than a well known brand but for 1/10 the price I can't complain. Like all little spinning cross buffs I've ever used, you can't apply a lot of force or hit sharp surfaces, or they'll wear out quickly. They're better for cleaning, smoothing, and polishing than trying to remove metal, even on aluminum. harder metals like cast are really good for cleaning, derusting and finishing.
