I use them when I crochet hats (my trademark) because if you make a mistake in the very first row, even by 1 stitch, the whole product can be ruined. I love them and it took me 3 tries to find the right size. I swear by it and in fact I'm interested in buying more hats in this size so I can make more hats in the cold weather.
