Review on 🔧 Minn Kota Bracket & Hinge Assembly 2991815A: Durable and Reliable Mounting Solution by Bryan Sperling

First of all I will write that I have ordered a bracket to convert the MotorGuide motor from a deck mount to a transom mount. MotorGuide (Mercury) won't sell it because they call it a "mod". boo Although it didn't quite fit, I was able to get it to work. I was able to do this because it is very well made: very strong, sturdy and durable. It performed all the functions as advertised and better than expected. I've only tested it in my large tub, it handled my 55 pounds with ease. Traction motor (2 reverse gears and 5 forward gears). I highly recommend this item. For those familiar with the types of materials I would say it would be something like "Bakelite" but with properties of its own. Today I am testing it on a small lake, but I am completely convinced of it.
