Great monitor for the money

EDIT 1 -------- Sometime shortly after my first check, I found 1 stuck pixel about 3 inches down and to the right of center. It just appears on a completely black background so I really think it's stuck and not dead. It's not noticeable in practice, so I'm not deducting a star for that. I would like to mention HDR again on this monitor. It's just frustrating, so don't buy it if you're looking for a good HDR experience. The white levels are very bloated and sometimes I want to reconnect my computer to my LG OLED TV. SDR performance is pretty good, though, and even for this price point and other features, I'm not surprised by the compromise in HDR performance. I've had this monitor for about a week now and it's really great. So far there has not been a single dead pixel or problem. be annoying, but it's just the right amount of immersion without being overly distracting. This monitor really lets my EVGA 3070 GPU perform and I have no problem running games like Destiny 2 or CoD/Warzone at high settings and native resolution with GSYNC enabled. There is some flare in the corners of the monitor, but that's honestly to be expected for a monitor of this size, and it's not distracting. The default color settings for Game Mode 1 are very accurate, although I ended up downloading a color profile from a Rtings.com review of this monitor. It didn't really matter which is good because it tells me it was well calibrated from the factory. I have a few complaints, which I'll address later, but I want to clarify that they're minor given the size, overall color accuracy, GYSNC/FreeSync support, and monitor response time. First, I'm glad I was home when it arrived because it didn't come in an unlabeled box; It was clear to see that it was a large monitor that could easily be stolen. So make sure someone is nearby to take it to the house right after delivery. Second, make sure your table is about 12.5 inches deep as the base of the stand is quite large; I actually had to attach a small piece of 2x4 wood to the back of my desk to extend it a bit towards the stand. Third, there were no USB and HDMI cables in my box - which is fine since I have spares - but all I had was a DisplayPort 1.4 cable. ; That's ridiculously out of place for a monitor this good. Finally, HDR isn't great, but that's to be expected from most PC monitors. I still play games with it as it makes them livelier, but the whites and yellows seem a little overdone. Overall this is a really great monitor for the price. So far I'm glad I took the risk and there haven't been any major issues.
