Too bad about my old monitor.

Pros+ This is the first monitor in almost a decade that didn't have a single dead pixel on my first try. LG on this product Acer x34 with its own gsync module. Also no flickering with gsync enabled.+HDR10 - Don't underestimate it, the panel is bright enough to look really good in some games like Mass Effect Legendary Edition and No Man's Sky better in SDR. Try it yourself, I was pleasantly surprised. Also disable HDR in Windows when not in use in games as it blurs desktop colors + OSD is the best menu I have ever used on a monitor that I was able to effortlessly navigate through the entire on the first try Menu. Learn and practice.+ The price is reasonable for what you get, my Acer x34 started at 1200 and I paid 799 for it. + No ghosting, fast response time, no noticeable input lag + Ultra wide (once you go to 21:9, you won't go back) Narrow bezel. Also, 98% of my games support ultra wide resolution. If people tell you otherwise, they don't have an ultra wide monitor. + Better resolution in my opinion, not as difficult to edit as 4k while still delivering a quality image. Can run most of my games at maximum refresh rate. But I have a powerful 3080 + 5800X setup. minuses. Although the stand is beautiful and slightly smaller than the Acer x34 stand, it is still large and takes up a lot of space on your desk. (easily repaired with an affordable desktop monitor arm I already had) - One year warranty? not long enough for a monitor of this price. There are no built-in speakers. It's not a deal breaker but it was nice as there was no clutter on the desk, I bought a couple of new speakers which deliver superior sound in every way so a good compromise. 10/10 rating, the best monitor I've ever had. heard. Excellent quality control (or maybe I just got lucky). I hope this monitor lasts as long as my Acer x34.
