It's a bit difficult to rate the TV remote, but this remote is absolutely PERFECT. It's not an airplane, it's a non-original remote control that needs to enter 100 different codes to make it work. Really all you have to do is make sure it's the right remote control for your TV, order it, get it, then insert the batteries (not included) and start using it. Universal remotes can work when you have nothing else to use, but once you finally have a universal remote to work with, you don't always have all the functionality you need for your TV. Especially the menu functions. So for less than $10, which is about the price of a universal remote, this is the remote you want and need. I am very happy with my purchase.
