WOW! who knew The original Emerson remote control no longer works. Enter your TV model number on Revain (under the TV remote) and purchase a replacement remote for $8. Works perfect!

I bought a used TV and lost the remote control. Happy to find the Emerson which was for my model and it worked straight away, unlike many universal remotes we've bought that require you to find a 'code' to use. Very satisfied!

Given all the great reviews on here I was disappointed with this remote. My wife and I have an Emerson LF391EM4 which *should* work with this universal remote based on the product description above. Despite trying to use it with multiple sets of new batteries, it just wouldn't turn on our TV, change channels, or do anything the remote was supposed to do except act as a paperweight. I returned it and will only buy a branded remote elsewhere.

It's a bit difficult to rate the TV remote, but this remote is absolutely PERFECT. It's not an airplane, it's a non-original remote control that needs to enter 100 different codes to make it work. Really all you have to do is make sure it's the right remote control for your TV, order it, get it, then insert the batteries (not included) and start using it.
