I bought this valve for my 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek. This valve makes changing the oil a lot easier as I don't try to lift the front of my car or roll onto my back to access the drain plug (which never comes loose on the first try). Now all I have to do is stand under the car, open the valve and let the oil drain into the oil pan. When you consider how easy it is to get to an oil filter in a car, there's really no reason to pay $60-$70 for an oil change at the shop. Changing the oil at home reduced the cost of an oil change to about $20. The only issue I had with the valve was that the gasket that came with it was the wrong size so I had to buy another one. d would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to change their own oil to save $$$$$.
