This grease separator is the last. It separates the fat and releases a clear liquid from the bottom. I've tried everything that looks like a weird watering can. You know they have a spout at the bottom and when the fat rises you just tilt and pour in the clear liquid - they don't work - trust me. The result is a real mess because the more you tilt the container, the more fat seeps down the spout - no more skimmed liquid. THIS separator releases liquid from the bottom of the container so the fat stays on top and you can make sauce or gravy and not swim in a sea of fat liquid. Very easy to use - just fill the reservoir through the built in strainer, let sit for a few minutes and squeeze the handle while holding the cup over the bowl or pot to catch the juice. When the fat layer reaches the bottom, release the button. Additional information: A vegetable peeler is included with the separator as a gift! Well! I cooked a beef roast in a slow cooker and drained the cooking liquid through a separator. Straight out of the fridge the next day, NO FAT! sit over the chilled liquid. Wonderful! I've never seen anything like it - chilled liquid didn't have a layer of chilled fat on it. The broth is now ready for making French Onion Soup. YUM. And the seller is AMAZING! Arrived on time. The only seller I know who sent a satisfaction email to make sure I was happy with my purchase and if I wasn't happy how could they fix it. Pretty impressive. Thank you!
