This is a great pan, but don't blow it with heat. You will rarely need more than medium-high heat. Once hot, you'll probably want to turn the flame down a bit. Too much heat deforms it. Also, when you're done, don't drop it directly into the water. Just let it cool down and then clean it. washes well; also good in the dishwasher. I don't use it often but the finish seems to hold up. A little fat helps, but it's not necessary. I usually wipe the oil off with a silicone brush or paper towel. Learn how to use it and you'll have an affordable pan that will likely last for many years. I mainly use it for pancakes and grilled cheese and they both turn out amazing.
