Good solid board for TV ceiling and wall mounts

I didn't use this board for its intended purpose but it turned out to be a good solution for my project. I used two of these to make it easier to mount/hide all the hardware behind my mom's wall mounted TV. Mom's TV has a VESA 200x200 mount. I put the TV on a wall mount and wanted to get it out of the way and out of sight. I used two of these adapter plates and installed one on each side of the VESA wall adapter. One plate is caught by two corners and exits to the right, the other plate is caught by two corners and exits to the left. On a panel I attached a rectangular power strip with thick and durable double-sided tape. On the other disk I installed the Channel Master DVR, an external hard drive and a Wi-Fi adapter. The Firestick is small and light enough to be easily attached to an HDMI port. With the help of a couple of Velcro straps (also called Velcro) all cables were stowed away. Everything is powered by an extension cord, meaning only the extension cord goes to the outlet, which is also covered by the TV. I love how thick these panels are. Thick enough to support some weight. Multiple holes to accommodate different VESA mount standards provide many mounting options for your gear. If the holes don't match your hardware, the plate is easy to drill through. A little pricey but rest assured they are strong enough to hold some gear. In the end, the price was worth it, allowing me to move forward with this project without having to find and cut the material myself.

Pros
  • TV mounts, stands and turntables
Cons
  • Slightly torn
