I will compare it with my old ASUS WL-500gP V2, which I have been using without problems for more than 7 years, and only in the last 2-3 months (and as it usually happens, at the most inopportune moment) the Internet on the smartphone began to fall off (it was treated by simply turning it off and on wi-fi on the same smartphone). After reading the laudatory reviews of happy owners of wifi router 4c, I decided to purchase it. My rate is 100mb/s. If we compare the speedtest, then yes, it’s not a question, the distribution speed has increased compared to the asus, from 25-30mb / s to 45-50mb / s, and if you go to the web interface of the router settings and do a speed test there, it shows that 92mb/s. But once you run a torrent on a computer, then on all other devices, not only does the speed drop, but the signal simply disappears or gives a connection error. I disabled QoS, tried different torrent settings, set download speed limits, etc., all the same. On the old asus, the speed of course fell, but so that the network stupidly disappeared, this was not the case. If anyone faced such a problem, please write how it is treated. It looks like it's just a weak filling of the router, and does not pull the load. With 4 antennas, the coverage area is less than my old asus with 1 antenna. If earlier I could catch wi-fi on the street 15-20 meters from the entrance (I live on the 2nd floor), then with this the signal disappears immediately upon exiting the entrance. When I bought it, I thought, “well, that’s it, with 4 antennas, but here at least 50 meters from the house it will catch wifi”, but in fact they are of little use, like 4 cameras on budget smartphones. In the apartment it is clear that the reception is excellent, there were no problems here. I still expected that it would work at least as well, but a miracle did not happen, the modern budget version does not reach the level of average models 7-8 years ago. And yes, if you don’t run a torrent, use wi-fi only at home, and don’t try to catch a signal on the street, then the router is excellent, beautiful and white.
