I love the Shark Steamer! It's amazing how black the pads get even though the floor "looks" clean. Easy to use, powerful steam, heats up quickly and cleans well. I love that not only does the floor get clean, but the hot steam ensures that bacteria and germs are killed while I mop with a steam mop. Great for all surfaces (I have laminate, tile and vinyl floors at home). My only advice: buy extra fabric pads. My house is 1500 square feet and this thing cleans so well that I only need about four pads to steam the entire 1500 square feet of floor. And permanent pads are great, just throw them in the washing machine with a drop of bleach and they come out nice and clean.
