I had another hub that lasted several years and finally stopped working in early May 2020. I was looking for something to replace it as my MacBook Pro has a limited number of ports. That fits the bill. I love that it's smaller than my previous one so it stays in place much better. It's the same color on my MacBook, so it's not noticeable. It is very easy to plug it in and plug everything I need into the computer. The only downside is that I have a case on top of my laptop and the bottom has to be removed to use this hub. I knew I was going in by reading the reviews but in my opinion it was worth it.
