Compared to more expensive but highly reliable blender bottles: not bad. I'd say it's just slightly thinner plastic. The bottles themselves are almost identical, with a slight decrease at the top. However, they do not leak and are easily twisted. The lid closes normally. Time will tell, but if there's a problem I'll bet it's a lid that won't close or breaks. But so far so good. There is also no small handle like on Blender bottles. Also, all colors are feminine, so macho men get bored.
