Not sure why Wi-Fi needs to be on everywhere these days; I just wanted a simple alarm system for my water heater and washing machine. It is great. simple (no WLAN) and inexpensive. I tested them before installing and they do exactly what I need. Scream like a banshee when there's a leak.
