It would be great if it worked properly
For some reason I had a problem where the device lost sync intermittently. I've contacted StarTech support a couple of times but they don't have any real answers on how to fix the issue. I replaced the block and the same problem persists. It's a great concept and solution for my workspace setup, but the regular dropping of signal to the monitors is unacceptable. Build quality seems good and when it works it seems to work well for the most part. From time to time I have issues with the mouse and/or keyboard not working with the machine or getting lost when switching.
