No problems, no incompatibilities, no disconnections. Boxes stand unobtrusively on my desks. They never seem to get hot. Pros: Pretty quick switching between 4 dual monitor configurations. I don't want to be picky, but with a product like this, you either do it right or you don't do it at all. Initially, the switch seemed to work well enough, and it's a real pleasure to toggle between the four dual-monitor settings. Great concept, works on both Mac and PC. Video works well with two monitors. The analog audio output and microphone input also work well. What doesn't work well is USB switching. The mouse and keyboard will freeze intermittently for 15-20 seconds before returning. This happens about every 5 minutes, which is unacceptably annoying. The specific configuration of this KVM is hard to find. Essentially, the two companies make 4-port dual-port DVI USB monitors with 2 DVI inputs for each port. StarTech's offering is the cheapest of the two at about half that, but it doesn't suffer in any way, except perhaps in form factor.
