Update after the 4th usage, the stupid flames stopped appearing the screen. For $170 I would never buy this. For the tower size I would prefer to have the bulk of the space producing heat rather than a fireplace scene. Not gonna lie the fireplace is cool looking but it's to small to create ambiance. The heater is simple to use with a high and low setting along with up and down temp adjustment. The fireplace scene can be turn on and off and the fan can blow with or without heat. Tip over turn off feature included. There is a timer feature along with a remote that fits in a slot on the back. I was given this to demo. I would not recommend.
