Review on MASTERCOOL 52225 Infrared Thermometer Laser by Derrick Milkie

This infrared thermometer is very easy to use and very practical. As well as monitoring the cooking temperature in my cookware - found out where heat/cold leaks occur in all places in my house - checked various parts of my fridge/freezer for chilling and freezing levels - checked the outside temperature after a few seconds - keep track of it Eye, how cold or hot it gets in my car - and the list keeps getting longer. What a wonderful toy for us big kids. A word of warning: the picture of the thermometer and case set is misleading. A loose thermocouple is not a probe, just a wire. It works, but having only one wire to measure the temperature is pretty much useless. It's not something you want to dip in a liquid or over a flame. Despite those misleading advertisements, it's still a good device.
