Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Muzata 1Pc Upgraded Custom Socket Wrench for 1/8" Invisible Cable Railing Kit Compatible with Muzata CV1 Hidden Turnbuckle Tensioner on Wood and Metal Posts for Deck Stair CT16, CT1 by Carson Zoberman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Place the tool over the cable gland and hold it close to the cable. Tighten with an Allen key.

This is a simple tool, overpriced for materials and quality, but essential when using Muzata concealed cable glands. Other reviews complain about the tool end flaring with use. It would have been helpful if there were tips for users, but that didn't happen. This approach worked for me (and I avoided flaring since I ran 21 wires (it took 24 tries to get 21 right): 1. Attach the assembled fitting to the face of the bar and check the Reach of the fitting Once you have attached the fitting to the cable you're all set 3. Use compressed air or a pipe cleaner/bottle brush to remove any debris from the drilled conduit 4. Slide this tool onto the threaded end of the fitting (after end securely slid onto the cable) and secure over the square portion of the fitting. While holding the cable securely in the tool's channel, insert the fitting into the post. Stop when the end of the fitting is the desired depth has reached (the cable should be relatively trained by this point) end to threaded end and tighten, being careful to flatten the socket wrench h old, and tighten the fitting from the hex side, not the back eg.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good but not great
