Review on Review and specifications of the Fujinon XF56mmF1.2 R lens by Athit Kemsatidanan ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

As already written here, optically the lens is very cool, it is sharp from 1.2. Dynamic scenes will be difficult to shoot due to mediocre autofocus, but this lens is 100% capable of making a gorgeous portrait. Speaking about the price, everyone will decide for himself whether it is worth it or not, you can replace it with no less cool 50mm or 60mm lenses from Fuji, which are sharp and have good bokeh and cost 2 times cheaper.

Pros
  • Sharp from 1.2, great bokeh
Cons
  • Slow autofocus (Maybe it will be faster on new generations of cameras or an ated version of the lens will be released), but on x-e2 autofocus is on a "C grade with a plus"

Has some pros Sharp with an open, beautiful pattern, metal case. Some cons: Thick, heavy, the price in 2022 rolls over.
