Warning, I didn't notice that, but the first sheet of paper is not hot-printed like the others. The first leaf is also slightly yellowish. Colors are not as vibrant as I had hoped. My Arches and Winsor Newton professional cotton papers are better and softer. With high-quality cotton paper, your colors will look like they just came out of a tube. The best paper I have used is Winsor Newton Professional Cotton Pads. The background color is Davy's Gray and it looks yellow and dull on this paper. But that's the first sheet. The rest of the sheets were lighter, but still not as good as the Winsor Newton and Arches cotton papers. This is probably good for crayons and other materials.
