It's not great.

Warning, I didn't notice that, but the first sheet of paper is not hot-printed like the others. The first leaf is also slightly yellowish. Colors are not as vibrant as I had hoped. My Arches and Winsor Newton professional cotton papers are better and softer. With high-quality cotton paper, your colors will look like they just came out of a tube. The best paper I have used is Winsor Newton Professional Cotton Pads. The background color is Davy's Gray and it looks yellow and dull on this paper…

essential item

The reviews were good but I didn't think it would hold up that well. I didn't lift anything or anything that would damage the integrity of the paper, but I poured a lot of water, smeared with pigments, made different strokes. I am a full-time professional artist and only use Arches, Fabriano Artistico, Saunders Waterford and Hahnemühle papers for commissioned work or anything I sell etc. I bought this type because I knew it one would be a bit on the cheap side and kind of junk. All I can say is, ah, down the road of Chinese shoddy quality. The paper is bad and the color of your watercolor is very dull. It's really like painting with mysterious color because you never know what color it will be when it dries. Paul…

Cons
  • Vanishing

The surface can be applied with several layers of watercolor paint, an ink pen (e.g. Micron, with a needle-sharp tip, the pen glides gently over the hot pressing surface) and lifted (cleaned / erased paint) without damage . The rubber seal around the edges prevents the bottom pages from leaking, but does not hold the paper flat when washed wet. There is a small gap at the top of the binding so you can later move a thin object to separate the sheets and I was concerned it might get in there. I…
