Review on Klein Tools ET10 Magnetic Digital Pocket Thermometer: Accurate and Portable for Temperature Monitoring - Orange by Jennifer Faiva

I bought this to service an AC split unit. I was glad to see that Klein addressed the main complaint I saw in the reviews about the batteries dropping. There is now a small screw that needs to be removed before you can access the batteries. I thought that was the only problem. When I then checked the ambient temperature, I found that it was anything but normal. I compared it to two other gauges and my HVAC thermostat and they were all at 71 degrees while the new Klein read almost 80 degrees. Since there is no way to calibrate, I have to return it and find something else.
