Very happy with this corn peeler. My husband and I quickly picked 200 ears of freshly harvested corn. It's definitely messy work, even with this tool, and I'm glad we took on this project on our deck, where I just hosed it all down when we were done (I was also wearing an apron, which I highly recommend ). There's a bit of a learning curve, so don't get discouraged if you're starting out. After a few tries we were able to figure out the best way to hold both the ear and the scraper without cutting too deep into the ear and still get as much core as possible. Honestly, for the price, you can't beat it!
