later This item is an exact replacement for the Carrier LA11AA005 fan wheel. It's just as high quality as the original - the electroplating is evenly applied and the fan runs quietly when installed. If compared alongside the original, it could have been made by the same company (however, there is no indication of where this part was made). Although I removed the original fan without too much trouble, I installed this fan anyway and put some anti-seize grease on the set screw threads in case I ever need to repair the inductor motor section again.
