This actuator is manufactured and designed for Zone 6 (China) only. It only plays movies from China. I live in the United States. So my movies don't work. After installing PowerDVD, I insert a movie and the error message says my American movie is not Zone 6 and the device is only compatible with Zone 6 (China). I sent this CD back because it doesn't fit me. I'm an IT guy so I know what I'm doing. When buying DVD/Blu-Ray drives, pay attention to which "zone" they are intended for. Zones cannot be changed - they are built into the device. The United States is in Zone 1.
