This lighter feels solid in your hand and is a good weight, giving you a sense of security. This is a butane gas lighter that is easy to refill. I'm using it to fuel my charcoal grill, fire pit, fire pit, and wood stove this winter. Very easy to ignite by pressing the bottom of the lighter. You turn it on, then press the button at the bottom and then adjust the height of the flame. The lighter now has a switch that allows you to switch from a deep blue flame to a regular flashlight flame, making it easier to light candles. Finally, the area where the flame comes from gets very hot with use. So be careful when you put it down after use. Enjoy!
