The mount is great but I was a little disappointed that it came with a plastic center clip. Every mount I've bought from RAM has been metal. So I figured why not try a plastic mount. It was rubbish. The plastic flexes, causing the GPS to bounce all over the place on some bumpy roads or on the 91 freeway. Luckily I had a metal device so I installed it and the boom problem was solved.
