Let me start by saying that this hub is very small - about 6 inches wide, just over half an inch high, and just over an inch deep. The power cord and host cable plug in at one end, so don't let the photo fool you if you think it will last. Power cable and micro USB are detachable. There are no LEDs and the overall design is simple and neat. As for the cons, there's a big bummer - the power cord is only 3 feet long. Power isn't required for simple devices like a mouse and keyboard, but some devices like USB hard drives won't work without it. The short cord means you'll need an outlet right next to your desk, and the hub is held by a very short tether. Power supply 5V 4.0A if you want to find a replacement. The adapter is also quite large, making the hub's portability questionable. In short: This is a slim little hub that really needs a smaller power supply with a longer cable. You'll be happy to use it without AC power for a mouse or keyboard, but look elsewhere for a laptop case or if you need it to be more than a few feet from an outlet.
