Let me start by saying that this hub is very small - about 6 inches wide, just over half an inch high, and just over an inch deep. Excellent powered USB strip. Small and light, but very well made. I have this to run my astronomy gear. Used several times in the field with all ports involved. No bandwidth problems, everything always connected correctly. Highly recommended!

We used this item to have quick access to our computer's USB ports without having to go into the closet where we keep the computer. This device hides perfectly behind our wall mounted TV. We use the TV as a computer monitor. It reads USB devices quickly and without lag and is very light, which allows us to mount it on the wall with a small velcro.

I've had a Belkin 7-port hub (USB 1) for 14 years and it works well so I have another one to upgrade my new devices without ordered hesitation. It's hard to review a product that "does nothing" (like a scanner or printer) but this hub and its cable appear to be well made, the connectors easily accepting USB cable ends that fit snugly. No complaints. I hope it will serve me as well as my old Belkin hub. I would have no hesitation in recommending Belkin USB hubs.

This is a replacement for the exact item that was purchased more than 5 years ago. It worked great but I lost power when I moved. So it's durable, and if like me you don't want to turn everything off to "switch off" at night. All I have to do is unplug the USB port from my laptop! It's also rated for 2500w just like the Glcon tower I bought!
