I bought an air lift for my Jeep JL because I had suspension issues while towing my small pop-up tent trailer and hitting the trail. I asked my local 4WD shop for upgraded springs but they said they were only moderately stiffer than stock and might not solve my problem. And it will cost several hundred dollars to buy and install. So I went online to research more and found air lifts. I watched a few videos on YouTube about the installation and the results. Looks like this is the solution I was looking for. My 4WD shop installed them so I wouldn't roll around on the floor with the jeep on the jack. For those of you with the skills and desire to do it yourself, I was paid an hour at the store to install it. As for the results, I'm very satisfied. Hardness can be adjusted from 5-30 lbs of pressure. At 15 pounds with the trailer, this eased the suspension squat and stopped the sag completely. The manufacturer recommends keeping them at least 5 pounds. This pressure decided that the trail had hit the bottom. Longevity has yet to be tested, but the lifetime warranty isn't too worrying. If you want to solve such problems, I would 100% recommend.
