Tour pulling a tandem axle weighing about 9000 pounds. My device has a button (not shown) on top to increase initial braking. My setup was easy with an extra order strap, but after two seasons of towing I still can't get consistent stops. Sometimes it stalls, often it doesn't provide enough clearance, too often it shows overload or worse, it shows a short circuit and I lose all breaks for a period of time. I have serviced a trailer breakdown with no significant problems. When I use manual control everything works fine, so the problem is not with my system. I may not have been able to get this block set up properly, but I'm not new to this, so if I can't get it right, it's a design flaw. Maybe my device is defective, but I won't buy another one to find out.
