I've been looking at these for a long time because I'm tired of the damp coolers and the constant lack of ice. Most of this type seemed very expensive for what you get. I was happy to find this at a good price. High quality robust construction. Very quiet. energy efficient. Good user friendly display. Simply chilled to zero. Tight-fitting lid and good insulation. I took an IR shot from inside and you can see the coils spinning around the top of the bay. This is a good design as the cold air settles to the bottom providing more even cooling to all surfaces up and down. I would advise you to store the cooler on an insulating surface (carpet, styrofoam etc.) and not on a hot machine. ground as this improves performance. I like the adjustable auto shut off when the battery is low. Gives you peace of mind that you are not draining your battery.
