Good body, feed cover may need strengthening

I bought it to hold fragile ornaments and figurines. For this purpose it works very well. The biggest shortcoming is the serving lid - opening it is cumbersome and difficult due to the handle (picture). If they changed it, it would be almost perfect. I believe this would make a good small animal enclosure as it is strong, durable and reasonably safe. Sliding the feed lid up from the inside MAY be possible if your pet is very determined. So if you are using it as an aviary I would suggest putting some weight on the feed lid part.
