Review on Stainless Fryic Tungsten Carbide Cutter by Jerome Pritchard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work great on porcelain tile

We have an ongoing truss renovation and have used them on two bathroom projects. We installed new shower tile in each bathroom and had to drill several holes of different sizes in the tile. This set contains smaller sizes. They are up to 2.4 inches in diameter. We used them on a bench drill. We made an irrigator out of an old plastic water bottle. We made a hole in the top, filled it with water, sprinkled it, and that's it. We have kept the working end of the diamond core bits cool by directing a constant jet of water at the working end of the core bit during operation. We did it on the street, of course, so as not to pollute all the water. These drill bits drilled through 3/8" thick porcelain tile like no other. By using a bench drill we avoided the vibration associated with a hand drill. I have nothing but good things to say about this set.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Slightly torn
