I read all the 5 star reviews and bought this product. I use it to hold my landing pad. Once I had to take it off while traveling. I unlocked the suction cups and removed the assembly. When I went to replace the assembly I made sure to clean the cups then the glass and I attached the cups without the tray (no weight). In the bright sun, the suction cups fell off by themselves twice. I think the adhesive that's in there when shipped is critical to performance. Once you take them off, you can't put them back on. :-(
