Instructions were not included, but the picture is easy to understand. It's nice that the kit came with a screwdriver for assembly, it took less than 10 minutes. Bought this for my green cheeked kennel. He likes the tray and the top perch. I hung one of his toys instead of a bell (looked a bit cheap) the swing is quite small. This playset would probably be great for a parrot, but it's good enough for what I was looking for. I would recommend not using utensils as the clip has sharp edges (I might be overly paranoid as well). Overall it's pretty decent for the price.
