This adapter is very slim and tiny, about the size of a lighter. But that basically includes all the great features an adapter needs. Pros: Extremely portable: about the size of a lighter. I can even slip my laptop with the adapter attached into my backpack's laptop compartment. Correct connection indicator above and below: Choose the connection side (left or right of MacBook) and you can still check whether the connection is correct. Easy connection - Powered by adapter, meaning you can connect a USB-C power source indirectly through this adapter and still easily charge your MacBook. - Great aesthetics as it perfectly matches the shape and color of your Space Gray MacBook Pro. - Can support multiple uses as intended: HDMI output, phone sync, external drive backup, MacBook charging and USB LED light on. Everything done right at the same time Cons: - The power supply can be weak if you connect everything through this adapter. For example, if you connect USB-C power via an adapter and connect 2 USB ports and a HDMI display output and run applications that require a lot of computing resources (e.g. games or computer code), the remaining battery percentage may slowly decrease. I think this is a general limitation. This problem can be solved by connecting the power adapter to the other side of the MacBook Pro. The adapter covers the headphone jack on the right side when connected to the right side. Overall: This is my favorite adapter at the moment and it mounts on the side. my MacBook Pro from now on, maybe forever!
