I think my scooter handlebar system is very strong, but. The part that holds the phone holder is a small piece of plastic that allows the phone to rotate (depending on how tight it is). If you have a strong metal frame holding the mount to the handlebars, but the most important part of the mount is plastic, it doesn't give much confidence in the mount. When I go over bumps, the holder moves more and more with each bump. Unfortunately, I have to stop to get back into the right position. After doing this a few times during the trip, I just picked up my phone, it was less of a hassle. There has to be a better way to hold the phone in place, strong and safe in the knowledge that the plastic part won't break! **UPDATE**: CAW.CAR contacted me immediately and sent me a new bracket. They have a great customer service team! I'm waiting for the new mount and looking forward to using it!
