Easy fix for kids who forget to close doors

I bought these to attach to the door leading to the garage from my house because my kids have a terrible habit of closing doors Leaving the door open even after they've said it countless times. My oldest son is on the autism spectrum and for some reason he's having a particularly hard time with it. My house was built with the standard six panel hinged doors that you find at Home Depot and Lowes with standard 4 inch hinges. It's important to know that there are two hole patterns for this type of hinge, but most curtain doors match the pattern on them, with "zigzag" holes from top to bottom. Make sure you place your hinges inspect before ordering just to be sure Installation was a breeze, using a cordless drill I removed a hinge from the door in seconds, inserted one of these (and it fitted perfectly!) and in a few seconds it was done, then Moving on I replaced the top and bottom hinges trying to only replace one at a time so there were always two hinges on the door to keep it upright.closed the door, inserted the provided hex key into the top of the first hinge and screwed it into the third adjustment hole and put the pin in. I repeated for the second loop and it was done.In the moment of truth I opened the door 90 degrees and let her loose. The two hinges closed the door quickly, a little tighter than my hand would normally do, but not tight enough to slam it shut. I then tried this from a 45 degree angle position and the door closed with enough force to push the latch into the sill for it to engage. Exterior doors have soft insulation around the frame, which should take a little extra effort to ensure a good seal. So if the third hole doesn't cause your door to snap here, mount one of the hinges to the fourth hole and then the other if needed. Brand name stores that are literally twice the price. I actually like their finishes better than the popular brand I bought for another door and will be ordering another pair to 'protect' my front door from my kids and other kids in my area. Hopefully this will reduce the chances of flies and mosquitoes entering my home. The time will show.
