The first impression after a day of use. The heater is powerful and heats a small room (about 10 feet by 10 feet) well. The fan was relatively quiet and noise would not be an issue in a quiet office. The fan oscillates in a very wide arc (the box indicates this is a 70 degree oscillation). I didn't use a thermostat on the fan (which supposedly turns it on and off to maintain a specific temperature). I was concerned that when I received the fan, there was a small piece of plastic rattling inside the fan (see photo. The red arrow points to a piece that lies inside the unit). I couldn't remove the fan grill to remove the part and it didn't seem to affect fan operation. However, I am wondering where this part came from. Several comments pointed to an issue with the device's durability. I will add a note if I run into any problems in the future as the device will be used daily this winter. NOTE ADDED DECEMBER 3, 2019: After only two months, the oscillation function of this fan stopped working. The fan and heater continue to run, but the fan no longer oscillates. The oscillating feature was helpful and while the fan is fine with no oscillation, I will purchase another small fan that oscillates.
