Pull out the old - insert the new

This is easy to install. We have a Pease metal door that we bought from Home Depot circa 1999. Air blew under the door because the brush was worn out. I found this article on Revain after searching the internet. Some of the search results contained instructions that seemed very simple. You were right. I opened the door Used pliers to grab the end of the old strip and after pushing in and pulling out a few times it slipped out. I then smeared silicone grease on the rails in the new sweeper and inserted them into the rails at the bottom of the door. Ready. The door is now tight and requires little force to open. Note. The instructions included in the package are for the nail. This slides on rails on the underside of the door. If you have an inch of space between the floor and the door, you don't need to remove the door.

Pros
  • Simple structure
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
